“If God can work through me, he can work through anyone.” – Saint Francis of Assisi (ca. 1181–1226)

Who was medieval Italy’s Francis of Assisi? Millions know him as the saint who first received the stigmata of Christ, as a champion of the poor, and as a mystic who possessed a divine rapport with the natural world. But few know that Saint Francis also created an extraordinary system of spiritual practices to radiate joy inward to the soul and outward to the world.

In The Way of Saint Francis, Father Murray Bodo O.F.M., reveals the life of this celebrated saint and shares specific meditations, prayers, and teachings to cultivate the five great keys of Franciscan spirituality. As you listen to these moving audio sessions, you will explore St. Francis’s essential teachings of silence, purification, openness, response, and time. Through them, you will learn to open the door to the cell within—a sacred inner space available to us at any time and in any situation.

Fr. Bodo, a celebrated poet, award-winning teacher, erudite scholar, and fellow mystic, will deeply move you with this one-of-a-kind course. You will cherish each lecture as he probes the spiritual experiences and insights of St. Francis. Fr. Bodo’s brilliant lectures make Francis’s mysticism accessible in today's modern world. You don't want to miss this course.

Winter Survey: January 2017
I listened to it in the car and found myself listening three times because there was so much to reflect on. Also as a Franciscan, there was much resonation in me. Review by S. Bernadette Engelhaupt Loup City NE USA (Posted on 1/11/2017)
Fall Survey: October 2016
A very inspiring listen. St Francis and St Clare are such wonderful saints and have much to illuminate our lives today. It's not always easy but very rewarding if we follow the teachings and practices that they themselves followed. Review by Rachael: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. UK (Posted on 10/5/2016)
