You will love this course.

In The Apostle Paul’s Letters, you will explore the thirteen Letters of Paul, the New Testament’s oldest texts. In 24 thoughtful and well-taught lectures, you will gain a deep understanding of the New Testament, early Christianity, and the life of this great apostle.

Under the guidance of renowned New Testament scholar Fr. Raymond F. Collins, you will enter into the world of Paul. First, you will look at Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians, Philippians, Philemon, Galatians, Corinthians, and Romans. By examining them in the order in which they were written, you will appreciate how Paul’s epistolary skills developed as he responded to issues that prompted him to write to the five churches.

You will then explore the remaining texts in the Pauline corpus, which were written by anonymous disciples who paid homage to the apostle. You will look at Second Thessalonians, Colossians, and Ephesians, analyzing the unique character of the texts and the circumstances that prompted their composition. Finally, you will examine the epistles addressed to Timothy and Titus.

The Apostle Paul’s Letters is a fascinating course that will give you a greater appreciation of Paul and his works, bringing you to the heart of the New Testament.

We recommend the video version of this course, which contains images, quotations and other elements designed to enhance your learning enjoyment.

High level overview of Paul's developing thoughts and teaching. Wonderful delivery by Fr. Collins, relating many of the issues to modern everyday life, often with a touch of humour. Review by Paul (Posted on 10/19/2016)
interesting and engaging
Paul is not the easiest part of the New Testament but the presentation by Fr. Collins is both interesting and engaging. This great pastor, both Paul and Fr. Ray, come across as great salesmen of Christianity. Review by Br. Kieran (Posted on 4/28/2016)

I am chaplain for a monastery of sisters. I used his course for Bible study with them. Review by Rev Denis Meier; Watertown, SD; USA (Posted on 5/20/2015)
Fr. Collins speaks clearly and he is well organized in presenting his thoughts.
While Fr. Collins is not the most dynamic speaker I have ever heard, I learned so much from his course. He speaks clearly and he is well organized in presenting his thoughts. The DVD provides a study guide which may be printed out onto which I took many notes, and the used the information to write papers for a Loyola University Extension class on the New Testament. The content was intellectual enough to be of help in a graduate course, but spoken simply enough for the average person to understand. I will purchase another of Fr. Collins' works with confidence.
