The sacraments lie at the heart of our Catholic faith. Now, explore them anew with this exciting course.

The sacraments tell the powerful story our Christian faith. These signs of grace are rooted in the work and teaching of Jesus Christ, and thus sacramental celebration is absolutely fundamental to all Christians.

Now, you can join celebrated Fordham University professor Fr. Thomas Scirghi, S.J., in this illuminating series on the sacraments. An expert on sacramental theology, he authored Everything Is Sacred: An Introduction to the Sacrament of Baptism, which bestselling author Fr. James Martin, S.J., praised as the “…the best book on baptism I’ve ever read.” Fr. Scirghi’s mastery of the material and superb lecturing ability is evident in this 12-lecture series.

With Fr. Scirghi as your guide, you will explore the origin of the sacraments through their scriptural roots and their development in the Church’s history. You will also study ritual—how each sacrament is celebrated. From this course, you will come to understand the history and theology of the sacraments while growing spiritually.

The sacraments tell the Christian story of how we come to follow the way of the Lord. Enjoy the fullness of this story today.
