Excellent Summary with broad knowledge
This series show how wide a range of knowledge Dr. Smith-Christopher has on the OT. In each and everyone of the dates feel like a mini-course on that subject.

My only complaint is that he does not enumerate the dates with a summary sentence at the end.

An outstanding job of making it understandable.
The Ten Most Important Dates in the Old Testament - a topic that is difficult for most Catholics, and Daniel does an outstanding job of making it understandable. He is always excellent. I highly recommend it to people who are unfamiliar with the Old Testament, who want to understand it better. Review by Kathleen (Posted on 9/4/2015)
Outstanding instructors: Daniel Smith-Christopher!!! I have taken two courses from him at Loyola-Marymount, Los Angeles. Wish you would get him to do more Old Testament courses. He's great and very good at explaining Old Testament topics!!! Scott Hahn is brilliant at putting complex topics into words that anyone can understand!!! I will be interested in anything by him. One of the best OT courses I have ever heard! Should be the standard for covering the OT. Review by dpcannon (Posted on 3/12/2014)
The presenter has very engaging vocalizations of his material, and is very clear in the points he makes. He can use humor well and makes you feel that you are there in those times of the O.T. What I appreciated most is the humanization quality of the Scriptures, where our ancestors are shown to be truly human in their coming to know who God is - the miracle of the writings becomes evident. One truly becomes better equipped to understand O.T. narratives especially where God is portrayed in such negative and violent ways. Review by Len (Posted on 7/24/2012)
