Join nine great Catholic scholars in an extraordinary journey into our Catholic faith.

In 1992, Pope John Paul II promulgated the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This thought-provoking video course explores the most essential aspects of the new Catechism.

Taught by nine of the nation’s best Catholic professors and sponsored by Weston Jesuit School of Theology (now the Boston College School of Ministry and Theology), Living Our Faith explores the four pillars of our Catholic tradition. By developing key themes from the Catechism, these professors have created a masterwork for lifelong Catholics and new initiates alike.

Living Our Faith is perfect for adult faith formation and those looking to gain profound insights into their faith. You will enjoy nine 30-minute lectures given by nine expert theologians. Each of these lectures is followed by a 30-minute round-table discussions consisting of professors, clergy, and laypeople. These discussions will highlight issues of faith and the Catechism as they apply to your everyday life and the Church.

This series, which received the imprimi potest from the provincial superior of the New England Province of Jesuits, is a journey to the heart of our faith and the soul of our Catholic tradition. Embark on this powerful journey today.

We gained much from this
Living Our Faith: The Catechism of the Catholic Church both challenged and informed the people of my parish who attend my annual Lenten series. We all gained much from it. In an age of declining church attendance, this is exactly what we need to inspire future generations.

Quite disappointing!
I have two groups that have met weekly for the past three years, with about 50 adults altogether. This is the first series -- from Now You Know or anywhere else -- that we have abandoned. We listened to the first 5 weeks and the general consensus was that the speakers were way too academic. Personally I most enjoyed the talk on Missiology and (on my own) the talks on sacraments, however all sorts of people were tuned out, falling asleep and failing to show up. Disappointing! In contrast, we have loved many other series, such as Becoming the Eucharist We Celebrate! Review by DRE (Posted on 6/24/2013)
This approach to the Catechism of the Catholic Church doesn't do it for me. There is no need to "jazz it up" in some new way that will supposedly make it more interesting to the present culture or to the youngsters. Not at all. Simply stick with the fundamental approach which worked so well in the past. I am 82 but I would bet that there are many of much younger age that would agree with me. This is the only one of eleven courses I have taken from Now You Know Media which has been a disappointment. Of course others may well differ. This is just my own assessmen but it is sinceret.
