“Do this in memory of me.” You hear this commandment every week at Mass, but what does it really mean? Now you can discover how to become the Eucharist as Christ desired.

The celebration of the Eucharist is one of the most sacred and ancient traditions in Christianity. The very first Christians gathered together and ate “agape feasts,” sharing and encouraging one another in remembrance of Christ. This tradition has evolved into our modern sacrament of communion, and Catholics rightly consider the Eucharist to be the heart of our faith.

At the Last Supper, Jesus gave us His own Body to eat and Blood to drink, but what did he mean when he gave us this commandment? Is it simply remembering and making present what Jesus did at that Supper? Or does this command have larger implications?

Under Fr. Crosby’s guidance, you will discover the reason we call it a celebration of the Eucharist. You will uncover a fuller meaning and challenge in the gift of the Eucharist through Scripture, the early Fathers, and Liturgy. Through the actions and words of the Church and the example of such inspiring figures as St. Francis of Assisi and Archbishop Oscar Romero.

Over the course of these lectures, you will deepen your relationship with Christ and reinvigorate your participation in Mass and communion. By becoming the Eucharist we celebrate, you will understand what it means to live a truly Christian life.

The course brought new layers of meaning to the celebration of the Eucharist. Now when, as a Eucharistic minister, I look into the recipient's eyes and say "Body of Christ," I don't only mean the Host I offer, but also myself and the one into whose hand I place the Host. I long to hear an "Amen" of recognition in response. Review by Pam Kemp Kelowna, B.C. Canada (Posted on 4/27/2017)

Gave us a new way to think about and understand the Eucharist.
Becoming the Eucharist We Celebrate gave us a new way to think about and understand the Eucharist. We are presently using his series, Mercy, the Heart of Faith for prayer and sharing. What a timely program for the year of Mercy. This challenges us to delve into the real meaning of mercy.

The CD "Becoming the Eucharist We Celebrate" has been one of the most comprehensive, easy to understand courses on the Eucharist I have ever had. I have facilitated this retreat a number of times and the participants absolutely love it (and so do I)! Thank you and God bless you for your contemporary theology. I have purchased over 10 of your retreats/CD's/DVD's. and have been always satisfied. God bless you for "feeding the hungry" with your contemporary theology. Review by Sister Rose Therese Di Gregorio O.S.F. (Posted on 4/13/2015)
Very Insightful
In his talks Fr. Dan Crosby invites us to be a pilgrim people on a journey to become a Eucharistic people. He blends insights from both his mind and heart by a balance of scholarly references and personal stories that touch the listener’s mind and heart. As a result, we more fully realize the Gospel call and the Commission at the end of Mass to go out into the world to share the love of God everyday, wherever we live and work with others. Review by Charles Erdeljac, Ph.D. (Posted on 10/1/2012)
Best Explanation of the Eucharist
“Becoming the Eucharist We Celebrate” is the best explanation I have ever come across of what Eucharist is and means to us. In language that everyone can understand, Fr. Dan gives the clearest explanation of why Jesus left us the Eucharist: to bless, break and share as a symbol of who we are to be for one another. He explains the need for our conversion to this ACTION, leaving us with a deeper understanding and gratitude for the great gift of Eucharist. Review by Sr. Mary Thomas Reichl, SCSC (Posted on 10/1/2012)
Great Presentation of the Eucharist
Following in the footprints of his spiritual father, Francis of Assisi, Capuchin Franciscan Dan Crosby has spent much time praying and living the Eucharist. In this audio series, he insightfully reminds usand challenges us to think of the Eucharist not simply as an object to be adored but as a lifestyle to be ACTED upon and lived. Review by Albert Haase, OFM (Posted on 10/1/2012)
Great application of the Euchrarist
Fr. Crosby gets to the real heart of Euchrarist from the call "to become what we are" to the call to action; he masterfully weaves the history of the meaning Euchrarist throughout the church age. It was refreshing to hear about he personally came to the importance of what Euchrarist means to him. I would enthusiasticly recommend this to anyone! Review by Kingdom Mystic (Posted on 9/6/2012)
