Sr. Mary Beth Ingham, C.S.J., Ph.D.
Mary Beth Ingham, C.S.J. received her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and is now Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. She specializes in medieval philosophy and, in particular, the Franciscan tradition and thought of John Duns Scotus. Her publications include: The Harmony of Goodness: Mutuality and Moral Living According to John Duns Scotus (Franciscan Press 1996) and Rejoicing in the Works of the Lord: Beauty in the Franciscan Tradition (The Franciscan Institute 2009), along with several articles on medieval ethics. Sr. Mary Beth received LMU's President's Fritz B. Burns Medal for Excellence in Teaching in 2000 and is a popular and frequent speaker at Franciscan gatherings.
