Sr. Ann Willits leads parish missions, retreats and conferences within the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. A Dominican Sister from Sinsinawa, Wisconsin. Sr. Willits received her B.A. from Rosary College and her M.A. from St. Thomas University. She did post graduate study at Marquette University. After her work as a member of the Order of Preachers, she taught English and theology in Faribault, Minnesota and eventually served as an administrator in both Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was elected to serve for two terms on the General Council of her Congregation. For twenty-one years, Ann was the Director of PARABLE, a national Conference for Dominican Life and Mission, which was sponsored by all of the branches of the Order of Preachers in the United States. During these years, Sr. Willits conducted pilgrimages to the Lands of Dominic, organized collaborative research projects, provided both retreats and conferences, as well as and encouraged continuing collaboration within the Dominican Family.
